Steven Gerrard took a break from his Revolution to enjoy a few beers in Ibiza watching David Guetta in concert.
The former Liverpool u-18 coach officially started work as the new Sevco boss on Friday while studying for his UEFA Pro Licence at the Toulon Tournament.
After a couple of days studying starlets from Togo, Canada and Japan Gerrard popped over to Ibiza to sink a few beers and enjoy a concert. It’s not known if Sevco Director of Football Mark Allen was also in Ibiza.
Sevco have still to secure any of their new manager’s transfer targets with Martin Skrtel and Fernando Torres both knocking back the chance of moving to Ibrox.
With Lucas Leiva Leiva electing to stay on at Lazio Gerrard is likely to start pre-season training with last season’s flops plus Scott Arfield and Alan McGregor.
The first match of the Revolution will be on July 12 in the Europa League.
