Brazilian superstar has responded to speculation that he is looking for a move to Celtic.

Out of nowhere the former Milan and Chelsea midfielder tweeted a four leaf clover on June 11.

Quickly word spread on-line about the 28-year-old who is currently playing in China for Tianjin Quanjian.

Yesterday, taking a break from a holiday Pato returned to twitter.

Pato moved to China last year and scored an impressive 15 goals in 24 appearances for Tianjin.

Prior to that move he had enjoyed spells in Europe and South America where he turned out for both Sao Paolo and Corinthians.

At 28 he’s likely to return to ‘mainstream’ football at some stage with the main attraction of Celtic being the opportunity to play in the Champions League.

Whether Celtic would be prepared to make an offer is another matter with the two previous Brazilian signings, Juninho and Rafael Sheidt both failing to make any impact in big money deals.
