Steven Gerrard’s squad looked a picture of misery as they booked into Glasgow Airport for a 6am flight to their Spanish training camp.
There was barely a smile to be found on the faces of any of the players with Alfredo Morelos looking especially unhappy as he wandered into the airport on his own.
With Bruno Alves sitting on the bench for Portugal at the World Cup Finals in Russia the Latin contingent has almost been wiped out with Gerrard leaving Fabio Cardoso and Eduardo Herrera behind at Murray Park.

Last week’s signings, Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic have been told to make their own way to Spain, missing out on the bonding experience of checking into an airport.
No matches have been arranged for the Spanish trip as Gerrard puts his stars through their paces with the draw being made on Tuesday for the first qualifying round of the Europa League.
Jason Holt and Lee Wallace were left behind for the flight with the company website producing a gallery of the travellers at 6.30am.
