The SFA have given Sevco a Silver award for their European licence.

May 31 was the date for submitting applications to UEFA with the SFA charged with the first level of compliance.

Celtic were given a Platinum award with Hibs picking up the Gold equivalent.

UEFA will now pour over the details of the applications with one report claiming that a number of questions have already been asked about the Ibrox application.

Sevco were given Gold status for Ground, First Team and Youth but were brought down by a Silver award for Legal/Admin/ Finance & Codes.

One of the main drivers of the licence system is to ensure something of a level playing field with clubs generally living within their means.

UEFA allow clubs to run up losses of €5m over a three year period, over the years 2015-2017 the company has lost £16,535,000 which currently works out at €18,823,000.
