Today’s child has a far better chance than most of playing for Celtic!

Birthday wishes are fairly routine on social media but as the morning progressed a pattern started to emerge.

Separated by 20 years Neil Lennon (47), Scott Brown (33) and Victor Wanyama (27) were today celebrating their birthday.

Put together they could have formed the most destructive midfield that the game has ever seen.

First to pull on the hoops, way back in 2000 was a blonde haired midfielder brought in on a £6m deal from Leicester City.

Almost taking over from Lennon in the midfield was the fiery Fifer from Hibs, today after celebrating his testimonial match the hoops skipper was blowing out 33 candles as the Celtic squad arrived in Austria to step up their pre-season preparations.

Overlapping with both men is the iron-man from Kenya.

Wanyama only played for two seasons at Celtic but left the club with an £11m profit when he joined Southampton before moving on to Spurs.
