Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters took time out from his performance at the Glasgow Hyrdo to congratulate Celtic fans on their support for civil rights for the people of Palestine.
The Celtic support, led by the Green Brigade have continuously highlighted the plight of the Palestinian people as they come under attack from Israeli forces.
Here is the bulk of what Roger Waters said about Celtic fans and Palestine. Anyone who doesn’t get it obviously has no idea about what he stands up for and against. The few that walked out get their day next Saturday. pic.twitter.com/IexOHlod8e

When Celtic were drawn against Hapoel Beer Sheva in a Champions League qualifier two years ago thousands of fans waved Palestine flags in protest.
UEFA fined Celtic £8,600 for the flag display but an appeal by the Green Brigade raised £176,000 which was distributed to Palestinian charities.
Waters was cheered by the bulk of the audience as he highlighted the plight of Palestinian people and the support that they’ve had from Celtic fans although there was some booing from those looking forward to getting out to march.
