Celtic fans didn’t take kindly to the latest ‘Dortmund’ style strip launched by New Balance.
It seems that anything with a day-glo look to it is marketed as ‘Dortmund-style’ after the classic strip used by the Bundesliga side in the mid-nineties.
With the latest strip getting a thumbs down it seems that New Balance have some work to do to regain the trust of Celtic supporters.

Can’t you just pretend it’s April 1st and all the leaked images from weeks ago were a parody, @NewBalanceUK fucked up the hoops, redeemed themselves with away kit, then their blind division were let loose on making everything on the top the same shade of luminosity, make it stop.

The current first choice hoops kit wasn’t well received although the white second kit has gone down well with fans online and in sports stores.
Last season New Balance came up with three kits which were all variations of green which required the club to turn the clock back a year when they faced Hibs in a purple/pink/maroon coloured top.
The new third choice kit won’t be in the shops until September as Celtic maximise profits from a lucrative income stream.
