Celtic fans have been gifted another new website with the launch of Celtic Clips.
The video based site is creating an archive of Celtic matches down the decades with a strong emphasis on clips created by supporters.
While most can’t compare with the 4G or HD productions produced by Sky or BT they do contain the magical fan element missing from mainstream coverage.
Capturing the build up to a free kick and the moment where the ball hits the net is something that only a genuine supporter would appreciate.
Celtic’s 2006 Champions League match against Manchester United provided a couple of memorable moments- with two of them captured perfectly on the early video phones.
Shunsuke Nakamura’s free kick hitting the net is a moment that no-one will ever forget while the hostility aimed as Louis Saha as he prepared to take a penalty against Artur Boruc was also pretty special.
