The contrast was stark.
In Scotland a wishy washy tweet was issued leaving no one any wiser what they were on about, there was no video clip to back up the ‘story’. Even the club of the racist supporter wasn’t mentioned.
Down south their parent body showed no fear. They retweeted a story from The Sun with their own comments. Yes it was a ‘Rangers’ fan responsible for the racist abuse of children in Macedonia.
‘Rangers fan’ calls boy ‘p**i’ and shouts ‘white power’ as supporters call for ban. @SRtRCScotland fully support a ban for this #Racism. https://t.co/5QuaokZJ8h

Show Racism the Red Card Scotland are disgusted by the racism and dehumanisation in this film will be working with Scottish football to identify and ban this so-called football fan. If anyone has any information, please can they contact us.

Show Racism the Red Card (Scotland) has long been suspected of being selective in their targets, photo shoots are more their thing alongside repetitive campaigns that clearly aren’t working.
Scotland and Scottish football has a unique racist problem but it’s not quite so easy to identify the victims. That allows the perpetrators to go virtually unpunished.
As SRTRC (Scotland) goes into hiding it looks like their London based colleagues need to take a visit north to salvage credibility.
