Celtic defender posts bizarre ‘play hard’ video

Dedryck Boyata has posted a bizarre video as he prepares to resume his club career.

The defender has been given extra time off following Belgium’s World Cup campaign amid rumours that he is the subject of a big money transfer bid.

Boyata is due back at Celtic next week and posted a video of a light work out or some meditation.

With his contract due to expire in June 2019 his return to training next week will be overshadowed by speculation about a transfer.

The English transfer window closes in the middle of Celtic’s European qualification campaign meaning that it would take an exceptional offer for the hoops to sell the defender to any club in the EPL.

Lazio have regularly been linked with Boyata over the last couple of months but it’s believed that no bids have been received.
