Jordan Rossiter has picked up his first injury of the season with reports that he left Murray Park in a moon-boot after today’s 3-1 win over The New Saints.

The midfielder, proclaimed as the new Steven Gerrard when he signed for Sevco from Liverpool two years ago but has had his progress delayed by injuries.

Mark Warburton, Pedro Caixinha and Graham Murty all had to do without the midfielder who turned 21 in March and who has two years left on his lucrative Ibrox contract.

Sevco wore a red training top in today’s match against the Welsh part-timers with Young McCrorie, Jamie Murphy and Serge Atakayi getting the Gerrard Revolution off to a winning start.

Bury will face Sevco at Ibrox on Friday night with a bumper crowd expecting to see the club finally reveal their new look Hummel kit.

No pictures or launch dates have surfaced for the new kit which was meant to be one of the main money spinners for the Revolution.
