One Sevco fan site has finally wakened up to the fiasco of life under Dave King.

Dissenting voices and keyboards against the South African based criminal have been impossible to find in the closed world of Ibrox social media.

Late on Friday night the real detail behind King’s ‘termination deal’ with Sports Direct emerged- 13 months after the Ibrox chairman had bragged about cutting the ties with Mike Ashley’s firm.

Rather than rip the deal up King paid Sports Direct £3m up front and handed the sportswear giant the right to cherry-pick the lucrative parts of any future deal that the company agrees with a rival!

Celtic bloggers and social media were quickly onto the story with debate and discussion notable by it’s absence among Sevco supporters.

Dave’s Left Peg reacted differently!

One of the major issues within our support is the element who can see no wrong in the current custodians. I am talking about the “Head in the Sand Loyal” who ignore all the warning signs and hold up members of our board as our eternal saviours.

Couple that with two particular websites promoting club propaganda mixed in with transfer rumours and it becomes easy to see why the more gullible fans are so easily hoodwinked.

Then add to the mix a number of “high profile” social media users deflecting from all the bad decisions made by the board plus the absence of transparency from the club themselves and we arrive where we are today. Ignore the noise and buy one of our kitchens!

Dave’s Left Peg complies with most of the stereotypes of the Ibrox support but did alert readers to the fact that Club 1872 was attempting to get a loan to take part in June’s phantom Share Issue.
