Greg Docherty has an apology to make if Kyle Lafferty gets to join him at Ibrox!
Yesterday Hearts rejected a £200,000 bid from Sevco for the striker who walked away from Rangers in 2012 when the club was put into liquidation.
Lafferty refused to transfer his contract to the tribute act set up by Charles Green and signed a lucrative deal with Swiss side Sion as a free agent.
That decision clearly upset Docherty who at the age of 15 was starting to shine in the Hamilton Accies youth team.

In January the Doc got his chance of a dream move when Douglas Park arranged his transfer to Sevco from Hamilton.
Three defeats conceding 12 goals to Celtic meant that the dream turned to a nightmare with new boss Steven Gerrard looking to get the hard working midfielder off the wage bill.
It seems that if the new Ibrox boss gets his way releasing Docherty’s wages will allow Lafferty to join the Gerrard Revolution.
