Sevco’s desperate search for a defender has switched to Kean Bryan.

According to a report in The Sun the Manchester City starlet is in line for that life changing phone call from his boyhood hero to sign up for the latest Revolution.

Bryan spent last season on loan at Oldham Athletic but has been told that he has no future at City when his contract expires next summer.

Since Martin Skrtel knocked back the chance to take an 80% pay cut Sevco have had to reign in their options.

Three bids for Milwall defender Jake Cooper were all rejected before Blackpool’s Curtis Tilt came on the radar.

Before the first leg Europa League tie against Shkupi Gerrard stated that he wanted to sign a left sided centre-back but two weeks later he is still searching.

Of the ten new signings made by the former Liverpool u-18 coach only three have involved a transfer fee.
