No one wants Brendan Rodgers sacked, that is the emphatic message from Celtic fans to the lazy media organisations, mainly south of the border.
Rarely has a manager been held in such high regard, even after a failure largely down to predictable mistakes.
Celtic fans know where their club was heading just over two years ago.
They had watched their club lose Hampden semi-finals to a Highland League club and lower division tribute act. The signs were ominous.
“How can people want him sacked!? He was a hero six weeks ago!”

Absolutely no one wants him sacked though…read Twitter, everyone is angry with the board for not backing him in recent transfers

Not one Celtic fan has called for Brendan Rodgers to be sacked. Fake news ????

I’ve not seen any Celtic fans call for Rodgers to be sacked, if you can post any evidence of that it would be much appreciated. And not just tweets from Adrian Durham as he is a helmet

Rodgers transformed everything and he did it almost instantly, largely with the group of players that he inherited.
Almost without exception every comment and decision from the manager over the last fortnight has been backed by the supporters.
The fans aren’t blinded, a number of signings have failed but the team has until last night moved forward impressively.
When it comes to serious money he spends wisely- imagine Celtic without Moussa Dembele, Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham?
Rodgers works tirelessly, he could be better paid elsewhere but likes the overall package and delivering success to the supporters that he emerged from.
Other than those with agendas elsewhere no one significant to Celtic wants to see Rodgers leave. End of.
