Charly Musonda has published a defiant Instagram video promising that he will triumph.
The midfielder had his 18 month loan to Celtic cut short with little chance of making the breakthrough at Chelsea under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
Clubs in Italy and Belgium have been credited with an interest in signing the 21-year-old.
Unfortunately for Musonda there are other younger players that are starting to excite the Chelsea management.
Brendan Rodgers is rated higher by Chelsea than the maverick midfielder, when the Celtic boss cut short Musonda’s loan deal it said more about the midfielder than the hoops boss.
During the summer Belgium finished third at the World Cup Finals with Musonda not even a footnote in Roberto Martinez’s plans.
With a five year Chelsea contract signed earlier this year his finances are secure but as he promises to triumph on the training ground the odds are lengthening on Musonda achieving anything worthwhile in the real world.
