Celtic have suffered another major injury blow with Odsonne Edouard out with a hamstring injury.

The striker missed the Champions League KO from AEK Athens and is certain to be absent against Partick Thistle tomorrow and is doubtful for next week’s Europa League play-off against Suduva.

According to the Daily Record:

Odsonne Edouard is a major fitness doubt for Celtic’s Europa League play-off opener.

The French striker could miss the first leg tie against Suduva next week after being struck down by a hamstring injury.

Moussa Dembele was rushed back into action against AEK on Tuesday and is unlikely to be risked at Firhill tomorrow leaving Leigh Griffiths to lead the attack.

Brendan Rodgers had hoped to play with two strikers this season but since the home match against Alashkert he has only had one striker available.

Celtic are unlikely to go into the transfer market before the end of the month but that may change if Dembele was to leave with Marseille, again, quoted with an interest in the French u-21 striker.
