Chris Sutton has claimed that there is no way back for the relationship between Moussa Dembele and Brendan Rodgers.
Last night the Celtic boss virtually ruled out a transfer for the striker despite concrete interest from Lyon.
With a day to go in the transfer window there is no chance of Celtic being able to bring in a suitable replacement for Dembele.
No way back now for Dembele Rodgers/Dembele relationship looks like it is irreparable…Take the money and let him go now…

Chris we can’t leave Brendan without a team No doubt this has been mismanaged but Moussa can go in January I’m sure a deal can be struck now that can be suitable to all parties.
Ps When is Lee Congelton going to be held to account he was useless at Sunderland and terrible with us— Joe Dabernig (@JoeDabernig) August 31, 2018
I still don’t as I think he is top quality but the situation has changed after Moussa’s tweet…It’s a mess but Celtic have to get someone in and move on.. https://t.co/lgsdBVHHAy

In the early hours of Friday morning the striker sent out a number of cryptic tweets clearly relating to the transfer stalling.
A number of people could have been the target for Dembele’s messages but Sutton had no doubt that they were aimed at Brendan Rodgers.
The Celtic boss will have the opportunity to respond to Sutton’s claim later today when he hosts a media conference to preview Sunday’s derby clash against Sevco.
