Chris Sutton believes that Celtic were roughed up in the 1-0 defeat from Hearts at Tynecastle.
Five Hearts players were booked with Steven Naismith somehow avoiding a red card despite a catalogue of offences including twice kicking out at Jonny Hayes as the Celtic player lay injured on the ground.
.@btsportfootball Well done to Craig Levein and Hearts??Celtic roughed up by Hearts…a lot of changes for Celtic but not the depth… for all those saying Mcginn wouldn’t have made a difference… really??

Kyle Lafferty, who should have been red carded for an early over the ball assault on Mikael Lustig, scored the only goal of the game early in the second half with Celtic struggling to make an impact on the home defence.
Brendan Rodgers sent on James Forrest, Tom Rogic and Odsonne Edouard to rescue something from the match but the hoops were unable to find their way to goal.
Celtic now head to Greece to take on AEK Athens in a Champions League qualifier without a win in their last two outings.
