After 90 minutes of domestic football Steven Gerrard has played the paranoid card.

A red card 12 minutes into the draw with Aberdeen for Alfredo Morelos upset the rookie Ibrox boss with Kevin Clancy the target for his anger.

During his general media conference Gerrard said ‘it seems that the world is against us today’.

Pressed on that statement he added: “We need to try and use it to our advantage, it’s not just today, it’s been happening for a while.

It’s been happening for a good while. It’s my opinion, I don’t think anything ever seems to go for us, everything always seems to be about Rangers. Some one should give me answers on that. I shouldn’t be giving the answers, someone should give me answers.”

Gerrard was upset that Morelos had been barged twice before he kicked out at Scott McKenna with the incident highlighted by the assistant referee.

At the Sevco penalty Dom Ball pulled Josh Windass’ jersey but received no punishment beyond the award of a penalty.

Sevco had the bulk of possession throughout the match despite playing with just 10 men for 80 minutes.

It looked like the visitors would claim full points until substitute Bruce Anderson drilled a low shot across Allan McGregor into the net during the six minutes of added time.
