Radio Scotland have added Steven Naismith to their panel of pundits for the new season.
The Hearts striker will be joining Barry Ferguson (EBT), Billy Dodds (EBT), Alex Rae (EBT), Derek Ferguson, Kris Boyd (EBT) and Steven Thompson (EBT) to share his views on matters effecting Scottish football.
It is unclear if Kenny Miller will continue as a special guest following his sacking as manager of Livingston.
Pleased to say that Hearts forward Steven Naismith has agreed to be a regular guest on Sportsound this season. First show tomorrow night. Hearts fans get in touch with questions and we will put some to him on the show.

Lovely to hear that @BBCSportScot are increasing their collection of ex-deadco panellists on Sportsound. pic.twitter.com/SB1ZUZb0aT

Despite their phony fall out with Sevco it seems that an Ibrox connection and tax crime are the main criteria for a gig with the state broadcaster.
After reporting supporters ejected from a match against Hibs for sectarian (anti Irish and anti Catholic) singing in 2015 Sevco and the BBC fell out despite Jim Traynor being in charge of media matters at Ibrox.
Rather than use the independence provided by the licence fee to provide some objective coverage of matters at Ibrox it seems that the Glasgow based broadcaster has reinvented itself as Sevco cheerleaders.
While EBT holders drool over the Ge55ard revolution no one on the news or business side has passed comment on plans for a £12.6m share issue or the appointment of Julian Juul Wolhardt as a Sevco director.
