Ryan Jack wants to see Willie Collum demoted because he missed his slip against Celtic!

The hard-man Sevco midfielder made a rare advance towards the Celtic penalty box when he decided to challenge Tom Rogic for a high ball.

Clearly lacking the physique to challenge the Australian Jack jumped into Rogic who held his ground, as the ball came down Jack slipped and Celtic had possession 25 yards from their OWN goal.

The former Aberdeen starlet lay on the ground hoping for a free kick as Celtic raced to the other end of the park with the move ending with Olivier Ntcham smashing the ball into the net.

Sevco boss Steven Gerrard, who knows how slippy modern footwear can be, decided to highlight that incident after the match rather than reflect on his side getting turned over for 90 minutes.

Picking up the theme while on Scotland duty Jack told The Sun: “I felt that Rogic took my leg away when I was in the air and when I came down I went over on my ankle. You get some decisions, you don’t get some and that one was costly.

It was tough to take because that was the goal that won the game but it’s the same as it always is. You have to deal with it.

We’re the ones that lose the three points and we have to live with that, whereas if it is a free-kick, I don’t know if anything gets done about it, if referees get things wrong.

I don’t know what is in place if referees do make mistakes.

Should he be put down the divisions?

I think that’s what should happen. If you’re making mistakes time and time again, why should you be refereeing top games?”

Most football fans would be delighted to see Collum drop out of the professional game with Sunday’s match another example of how unsuited he is to be anywhere near meaningful matches.

Within ten minutes he allowed Kyle Lafferty to stamp on Mikael Lustig’s calf unpunished then booked Scott Brown for a run of the mill challenge that saw the former Hearts star launch himself acrobatically in the air without being anywhere near contact from the Celtic skipper.
