Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace have successfully appealed against the fines imposed on them following the Scottish Cup semi-final defeat from Celtic last season.

According to a report in the Daily Record, who broke the story of the players being suspended, fined and appealing against the decision the SPFL have found in favour of the players after a three day hearing.

Sevco initially suspended the players, neither of whom played at Hampden, then imposed the fines. Wallace was hit with a four week fine, Miller a two week fine but neither paid a penny while the case went to appeal.

Various versions of what went on has leaked out with Miller, recently sacked as player-manager of Livingston, promising to reveal the full details to clear his name.

Waldo, the last remaining player to have TUPE’d over from Rangers (IL) in 2012 has found his career come to a virtual halt because of the incident.

Steven Gerrard promised to leave the incident with the club but after playing Wald as a late substitute in the recent draw at Motherwell dropped the experienced defender from his squad for the Europa League group phase.
