Despite being shunted 50 miles east to watch their team in semi-final action and a multitude of travel problems Celtic fans were in great voice as they celebrated another final appearance.

ScotRail did themselves no favours by leaving fans stranded at stations east of Queen Street as they attempted to get to the capital for a 1.30pm kick off but it takes more than that to put off the Celtic support.

By the time the second half goal show got underway every seat was taken as over 30,000 Celtic fans watched Brendan Rodgers’ side turn on the style.

After celebrating a Ryan Christie inspired demolition job on Hearts the supporters had to make their way back to Glasgow where Queen Street Station had become a bottleneck with supporters of the Hampden semi-finalists.

It was all good natured stuff as the Celtic supporters sang about 10-in-a-row with the hoops apparently back in top form with a final place booked as they attempt to win their seventh successive domestic trophy.
