Daniel Arzani looks like returning to Manchester City at the start of December.

According to the Australian website The World Game the teenager has a clause in his loan deal that allows him to return to Manchester City if he has fails to make a first team appearance by the end of November.

Arzani was left out of Celtic’s Europa League squad and has still to complete 90 minutes for the reserve side making a first team appearance highly unlikely.

The World Game claims:

The clock is ticking on Daniel Arzaniā€™s Celtic future with an agreement in place to send the young Australian gun back to parent club Manchester City should he fail to land a first-team appearance by December.

Arzani made three substitute appearances for Australia at the World Cup Finals paving the way for his move from Melbourne City to Europe.

Celtic have a close relationship with Manchester City with Arzani following in the footsteps of Patrick Roberts, Jason Denayer and John Guidetti in heading to Glasgow for match time.

So far that hasn’t materialised.

Brendan Rodgers already has Mikey Johnston and Lewis Morgan pushing for a first team place ahead of the young Australian who is currently on international duty in the UAE.

Most loan deals have get-out clauses with Charly Musonda making an early return to Chelsea in the summer despite signing an 18 month loan deal in January.
