Odsonne Edouard is available for Celtic’s Europa League clash with RB Salzburg tonight.
On Saturday the striker was on the receiving end of a brutal attack from Scott McKenna that went unpunished by referee Bobby Madden
Edouard had to be replaced by Scott Sinclair but after resuming training he will be available for selection for tonight’s match.
“I’d expected him to be back,” Brendan Rodgers told The Sun. “It was only a dead leg. He’s moving on in training, so that’s been good.”
It’s unlikely that Edouard and Leigh Griffiths will both start the match but Celtic are facing a number of injury problems.
Tom Rogic has been left behind in Glasgow while a hamstring strain has put a question mark over the fitness of Scott Brown.
Both sides won their opening matches in Group B with tonight’s victors going into a very strong position to qualify for the last 32 of the competition.
