Filip Benkovic is OUT of Celtic’s plans for tomorrow’s Europa League clash with RB Salzburg.

The defender pulled out of the match away to Kilmarnock due to concerns over an Archilles injury but tomorrow’s match will be the fourth game running that he has missed out on.

Jack Hendry came in to replace Benkovic at Kilmarnock and has retained his place in the side alongside Dedryck Boyata with Celtic racking up back-to-back clean sheets against St Johnstone and Aberdeen.

Celtic signed the 21-year-old from Leicester City on a season long loan at the end of August but so far he has only started in two matches.

With Kris Ajer out with a hamstring injury Celtic are short of options in central defence with drafting in Kieran Tierney or Mikael Lustig the only realistic options.

RB Salzburg won 3-2 away to RB Leipzig on Match-Day 1 and are strong favourites to repeat that win when they take on Celtic tomorrow night.
