There was absolutely no sympathy for Steven Naismith from Celtic fans after the hoops 3-0 demolition of Hearts at Murrayfield.
The Scotland hero managed to pick up a mystery knee injury in the opening minutes and strolled off the pitch after just seven minutes.
Naismith has been involved in a number of incidents during Celtic’s last two trips to Tynecastle but is almost anonymous elsewhere.
Scott Brown, James Forrest, Mikael Lustig and Jonny Hayes have all been the target for career ending injuries from the on-loan Norwich striker who will have his sore knee assessed later today.

Look. It’s poor form to revel in Steven Naismith’s injury.
So here I go. I hope he’s in unremitting agony and his career is over.

Reporting on the injury Craig Levein told The Sun: “He felt something in his knee.
“Obviously he’s had a couple of serious operations a while back, so he wasn’t feeling too good about it.
“We need to get an investigation done so once we’ve done that we’ll find out what the problem is.
“If Brendan was to have picked one Hearts player he could have taken off then I’m sure he’d have picked Steven.
“And if the opposition manager thinks like that about one of your players then generally I’d assume that’s the one he was worried about.
“It happened within five minutes of the game starting. He said he felt something go in his knee and he didn’t know what it was.”
Wee Naisy suffered two cruciate injuries during his time with the old Rangers club before he decided to TUPE himself onto a lucrative contract at Everton.
His injury will also be a concern for Alex McLeish who declared the Tynecastle man as his first choice striker.
Naisy seems certain now to miss out on Hearts’ matches against Hibs on Wednesday and away to Celtic on Saturday.
