Brendan Rodgers has given no indication that he is considering quitting Celtic.
The hoops boss was confident of the future despite last night’s defeat to RB Salzburg and speculation over his future.
There has been some very far fetched speculation linking Rodgers with Manchester United but the Aston Villa vacancy seems more believable than it would have a year ago.
Brendan Rodgers ahead of @StJohnstone v @CelticFC
? We’re disappointed about the result but we won’t dwell
? We can only focus on the next game and build consistency
? There’s a long season ahead and I expect us to get better and better

From that tweet there were no nods to anything other than sorting out Celtic’s disappointing start to the season.
That begins on Sunday away to St Johnstone with three points essential ahead of the second international break of the season.
The return of Tom Rogic should freshen up Celtic’s attacking options with Rodgers looking to take full points while Hearts collide with Sevco at Ibrox.
