Scott Brown returns to the Celtic side that faces Hibs today.

Brendan Rodgers makes one change to the side that beat St Johnstone 6-0 a firtnight ago with the hoops skipper replacing the injured Leigh Griffiths.

Brown missed the matches against RB Salzburg and St Johnstone ahead of the international break.

The 6-0 win over the Perth side was Celtic’s most convincing performance of the season highlighted by the four goals from James Forrest.

Twenty four hours earlier Hibs were beating Hamilton by the same scoreline to retain second place behind city neighbours Hearts.

Should Hearts lose at home to Aberdeen today if there is a winner in the Celtic v Hibs match the victors will go to the top of the table.
