Brendan Rodgers was left frustrated by Celtic’s 3-1 defeat to RB Salzburg.
Odsonne Edouard gave the hoops a dream start when he opened the scoring in the second minute but by the final whistle the men man hoops, minus the red carded James Forrest, were well beaten by the Austrian champions.
Celtic had looked composed and assured throughout most of the first half with Salzburg showing some signs of frustration as they failed to find an equaliser.

Youssef Mulumba put in an impressive shift deputising for the injured Scott Brown but as the match developed Celtic became increasingly slack in possession.
Ten minutes into the second half Munus Dabbur equalised for the Austrians as the game slipped away from the hoops- by the 71st minute the match was over after Dabbur converted a penalty following Forrest’s red card.
In the other match in Group B RB Leipzig won 3-1 away to Rosenborg with Celtic travelling to Germany in Match Day 3.
