JOHN HARTSON has produced a passionate two minute video about Brendan Rodgers’ future at Celtic.
After a week of speculation linking the Celtic boss with a move to Aston Villa Saturday morning saw the ‘focus’ switch to Newcastle.
Over the last month Rodgers has also been linked with jobs in China as well as discussed as a potential replacement for Jose Mourinho.

Hartson has watched the Irishman closely since he took Swansea into the English Premier League in 2011.
Interestingly in the video clip Hartson reveals that he has recently been in Rodgers’ company.
Celtic’s indifferent start to the season and problems in the transfer market fuelled speculation that Rodgers could leave but 18 months into a four year contract a move at this stage seems highly unlikely.
After enjoying some sunshine during the international break Rodgers will be back at the coal face this week preparing Celtic for the visit of Hibs.
