Karamoko Dembele is in the Celtic side playing Partick Thistle at Lennoxtown today in the Glasgow Cup.
The 15-year-old is one of the most exciting teenagers in European football but is prevented from playing in the Reserve League until February when he turns 16.
The age group has been raised to u-20 this season with each team playing once against each other with the top four out of five going forward to the semi-finals.
Over the last dozen years the Glasgow Cup has been an u-17 tournament but this season that restriction has been lifted generating additional fixtures for the reserve squad.
Dembele made a brief substitute appearance two years ago in the Development League against Hearts which generated publicity across the UK.
He is a regular internationalist for Scotland and England with clubs across Europe keen to lure him away from Celtic.
