Scott Brown was among the first to congratulate James Forrest as the winger helped Scotland to a 4-0 win over Albania.
Forrest’s second goal summed up the confidence that Scotland played with as he controlled a pass on his right foot then smashed a left foot volley into the net.
James Forrest wow. Lads doing well tonight ????????????????

The victory kept alive Scotland’s hopes of qualifying for the next stage of the Nations League with a win on Tuesday over Israel at Hampden required to progress.
Scotland took the lead in the 14th minute through Ryan Fraser then doubled their advantage right on half time through a Steven Fletcher penalty after an Albanian was judged to have handled a Stuart Armstrong free-kick.
Any hope that the ten man Albanian’s had of salvaging something from the match died in the 55th minute when Forrest scored his first international goal- 12 minutes later he scored a spectacular goal that won’t be forgotten.
