A video has appeared on social media that brilliantly sums up Hearts’ season to date.

After a series of tricks and stunts that caught the eye there is what can only be described as a car crash conclusion as reality kicks is.

Five straight wins to open the campaign, including a wildly celebrated 1-0 win over Celtic at Tynecastle, sent hopes sky high that ‘this could be their year’.

Going to Murrayfield a fortnight ago Hearts were hoping to be the treble busters as they faced up to an injury hit Celtic side coming back from a Europa League defeat in Leipzig.

Ninety minutes later Hearts were nursing a 3-0 defeat, a cup exit and had watched Steven Naismith walk away after seven minutes of ‘action’.

Since that match Hearts haven’t scored a goal, picking up one point from three matches, gained in a bad tempered Edinburgh derby against Hibs.

A year ago Pedro Caixinha entertained us all with his talk about dogs and caravans, in 2018 the Jambo skateboard tells a similar story.
