Gerry McCulloch of Celtic TV quickly responded to TalkSPORT troll Ian Abrahams as he trashed James Forrest following his hat-trick against Israel.
Following the tried and tested formula of the London based broadcaster the Moose decided to belittle everything relating to the Nations League match.
Forrest scored a hat-trick to rescue a win for Scotland and shoot himself into joint top spot in the Nations League scoring chart- well clear of golden boys Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford.
“Scotland’s best player by a mile” would be a “punt” for a Premier League team “below halfway”. 2 words. Van. Dijk. ???? https://t.co/L0jTEnvdV7

Virgil van Dijk and Victor Wanyama are among Forrest’s former team-mates who have settled in instantly to clubs at the top end of the EPL.
Moose is a West Ham supporter where Robert Snodgrass is currently a first team regular.
Forrest could easily have run down the final months of his Celtic contract to join a dead-end club like West Ham and play a role in their annual battle against relegation.
Instead over the next 11 days he can look forward to a Europa League tie against Rosenborg followed by a cup final against Aberdeen.
