After putting the head in Ryan Christie Dolly Menga is set to be suspended against SEVCO.

Kevin Clancy spotted the first half incident during Celtic’s 0-0 draw with Livingston but didn’t think it was worth more than a word of warning.

With the exception of Kris Boyd every media source has condemned the action by Menga conceding that he was lucky to stay on the park.

Menga’s luck will run out when the incident goes through the SFA disciplinary procedure after being highlighted by the Compliance Officer.

The offer of a two match suspension will be made, Livingston will make some token comment then accept the punishment with Menga missing out on the matches against Sevco and Motherwell.

Scott McKenna and Steven MacLean have both suffered retrospective suspensions after the referee failed to apply the rules in matches against Celtic.

Despite failing to deal with the incident appropriately Clancy will continue to be appointed to the leading matches.

Two weeks into November and the SFA have a number of refereeing issues to deal with including a claim from Sevco that there are underlying issues with Willie Collum in charge of their matches.
