Andrew Dickson has accused Peter Lawwell of using safety concerns to point score with ‘Rangers’.
At the Celtic AGM the hoops chief admitted that there were concerns about taking 800 fans to Ibrox with one option being to take fans by bus from Celtic Park across the city.
Safety concerns inside the stadium are a bigger concern with Celtic fans expected to be housed in a corner with home season ticket holders on either side and also behind in the Sandy Jardine and Broomloan Road Stands.
Agree with Barry on this. Only place there has been a safety issue in recent times was at Celtic Park – involving Celtic fans. No track record of the problems Lawwell fears at Ibrox so why chuck that one into the conversation? To make your opponents look like big bad Rangers? https://t.co/CLSPFomqF7

Earlier this season after safety fears from Police Scotland the club from Ibrox were allowed to cut the number of tickets available to visiting fans at UEFA matches.
Less than 200 Villarreal fans will be at Ibrox on Thursday.
Dickson used to be on the media staff at Ibrox and TUPE’d his contract over to the new club formed by Charles Green in 2012.
Famously he likened the liquidation of the old club to Kit-Kats being produced by a new company.
If Dickson wishes to check out safety issues he can google Manchester 2008 and UEFA Cup Final. No Chelsea fans were convicted for incidents in Manchester which left one police officer requiring intensive care.
