The Green Brigade have been holding the event for a number of years with Celtic supporters responding in increasing numbers- bringing tinned fruit, vegetables and tinned fish to the match creating a powerful image and highlighting social injustices.
Tierney enjoys a close relationship with the Green Brigade, taking control of the microphone during title celebrations.
Tomorrow afternoon the left-back will be hoping to avoid serious injury when Hearts come to town with their four point lead at the top of the table under threat.
Tierney is often targetted for extra physical treatment in this fixture. John Beaton will referee the match just as he did when the clubs met at Tynecastle in August.
