Celtic fans reacted with joy to their side’s 1-0 win away to Rosenborg tonight.
Scott Sinclair’s first half header secured full points to give the hoops a realistic chance of reaching the last 32 of the Europa League- which won’t involve a third trip back to Norway.

After losing away to RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig a home win over the Germans kept alive Celtic’s hopes of making progress in the competition.
Tom Rogic for Olivier Ntcham was the only change to the Celtic side that won 3-0 at Hamilton on Saturday as Brendan Rodgers put the emphasis on attack.
After creating, and missing half a dozen reasonable chances a simple cross from James Forrest shortly before half time provided Sinclair with a simple chance that he nodded into the net.
With RB Salzburg beating RB Leipzig tonight Celtic are three points ahead of the Germans going into the final match needing a point at home to secure at least one European away day after Christmas.
