Mikey Johnston was the headline act as Celtic beat Dundee 3-0 to maintain top spot going into Christmas.
The teenager scored either side of half time to puncture the resistance of Jim McIntyre’s side as the hoops set themselves up for two critical away days.
Johnston’s opening goal had the stamp of class all over it as he wrong footed a defender with his back to goal, turned then sent a low shot across Jack Hamilton into the net.
Run, touch and Cruyff turn from Mikey before calmly shooting into the net. Great goal. Well deserved. 1-0 ????

Really hoping that Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, Modric etc accept Mikey Johnston winning the Ballon D’Or 2019 with good grace.

I love when a young player bursts into the Celtic team showing no fear, playing like he has been a regular for ages. Mikey Johnston is the latest in a long line to do so.

Celtic’s second was less spectacular when Johnston headed home from close range before Filip Benkovic completed the scoring..
The hoops are now three points ahead of second placed Aberdeen with a game in hand ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Pittodrie.
Tom Rogic completed the full 90 minutes with Ryan Christie returning from injury enjoying a 30 minute outing after replacing James Forrest.
