Celtic fans reacted with joy to the announcement that Jose Mourinho had been sacked by Manchester United.
A pay off in the region of £20m might almost bring a smile to his face but there was joy across Celtic twitter at this morning’s announcement.
Honestly, I will never feel sorry to see Jose Mournino suffer after Seville. Granted, he is entertaining and likeable, but I wish him zero success now or ever.

“Likable” is literally the LAST adjective I would associate with Jose Mourinho.

I do think he is likeable. I’ll defend that. He is a complete cock 99% of the time, but I find the wind-up’s make him likeable… I dunno. It’s hard to pin why I think he is likeable. I just do.

I’ve always hated him since then, no style to his teams and his ego is not justified got what he deserved and hope he fails again

Absolutely no sympathy whatsoever , he will now get god knows how many millions as a leaving gift then give the odd interview of how brilliant he is

He’s only entertaining and likeable when he’s winning. Nowadays he’s just a grumpy old man.

I can’t stand the guy. However he’s been a quality manager. A bit like Gazza was a great player and a bit of a dick.

There is one word to sum up the dislike that Celtic fans have for Mourinho- Seville.
Back in 2003 Martin O’Neill’s side battled their way through an epic UEFA Cup campaign to reach the final in the Spanish city.
There is little doubt that Porto were a special team- 12 months later they were picking up the Champions League trophy after knocking Manchester United on the way.
In Seville no tactic was too low for Mourinho’s side as they dived and time wasted their way through the match and extra time.
Football with a snarl was the Mourinho way- a tradition that he retained throughout his time at Old Trafford.
After being sacked by Real Madrid, Chelsea and now Manchester United there is a very narrow list of clubs prepared to indulge the ego of ‘The Special One’ and indulge him with the level of spending that he demands.
