Rod Stewart has warmed up for Celtic’s December 29 visit to Ibrox by beaming the goals from the March victory on stage during his concert run in Las Vegas.

As he sang ‘You’re In My Heart’ the backdrop changed to show the goals of Tom Rogic, Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard as the hoops won a dramatic derby clash.

The goals were shown in slow motion although there was no ‘Whit’s the goalie dain Tom’ co-commentary from Hugh Burns.

Anyone going to a Rod Stewart concert will be left in no doubt about where his heart lies with references to Celtic throughout the shows.

The singer has been known to drop in on local Celtic Supporter Clubs while out on tour with the Los Angeles CSC recently having a celebrity guest.

When he is in the UK Stewart makes a pint of visiting Celtic Park as often as possible although his appearances at Ibrox are less frequent with Celtic still to decide if it is safe to take an allocation of 800 tickets for the December 29 clash.
