Celtic fans are expected to pile in by backing their bhoys to win Saturday’s Glasgow derby at Ibrox.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are available at just less than even money although a couple of outlets were holding on to that price.
Despite the backing of close to 50,000 fans inside Ibrox the home side are priced at almost 3/1 to register their first ever win over the seven times champions.
After yesterday’s results the odds on a Celtic win are likely to come down significantly before Saturday’s 12 noon kick off. In the September meeting between the two clubs Celtic ran out 1-0 winners with Olivier Ntcham scoring the only goal of the game.
A 4-3 win at Aberdeen lifted Celtic three points clear at the top of the table with the Ibrox side being held to a 1-1 draw at home by Hibs. Out of the eight players shortest priced to open the scoring Alfredo Morelos is the only home player quoted- Tom Rogic and Jonny Hayes are priced shorter than Ibrox penalty ace James Tavernier.
Saturday’s match will be refereed by John Beaton.
