Scott Allan made a rare SPFL appearance yesterday- at Easter Road supporting Hibs in their derby clash with Hearts.
With his Celtic contract expiring at the end of the season there is no prospect of a new deal or any meaningful action under Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic signed Allan from Hibs in August 2015 and loaned him back to the Edinburgh side for the second half of last season. Hibs were interested in the 27-year-old during the summer transfer window but the John McGinn saga ensured that no business was done.
Allan’s wage at Celtic is probably three times that of the top earner at Easter Road but the offer of a two or three year contract to go to the club where he has played the best football of his career would be hard to resist.
Brendan Rodgers did play Allan in some pre-season matches but he hasn’t played a minute of first team or Reserve League action this season.
