Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Lionel Messi would be his dream Celtic signing.
The Argentinian has played against Celtic a number of times but has spent his entire career with Barcelona winning numerous titles for the Catalan side.
Rodgers was put under the spotlight by young fan Reece as part of a Celtic TV feature with the big question asked about who he would sign if he had an unlimited budget.

I’ve always been a Lionel Messi fan, he’s an amazing player, Luis Suarez is an incredible player as well. I think that to let the Celtic supporters see him (Messi), he always makes any team better so probably Lionel Messi.
Rodgers will have to settle for some more modest transfer targets when the window opens next month with two strikers top of his list.
The sale of Moussa Dembele to Lyon and absence of Leigh Griffiths has left Celtic reliant on Odsonne Edouard who has started 14 of the last 15 matches.
That run will come to a halt for tomorrow’s match against Dundee with Rodgers giving an update later today on the abductor muscle injury that the Frenchman suffered against Motherwell.
