Marco Rose is wary of the ‘notorious’ atmosphere that will greet his side at Celtic Park.

The RB Salzburg coach will complete his Europa League with the luxury of knowing that qualification for the last 32 has been completed as group winners.

Celtic need a point to join the Austrians in the next stage with Brendan Rodgers’ side back in contention thanks to wins over RB Leipzig and Rosenborg.

Salzburg have established a reputation as Europa League specialists with Rose looking to add to that by ending Celtic’s interest in the competition.

As his side prepared to fly to Glasgow he told reporters: “The atmosphere there is notorious, but just enjoying it is not enough – we also want to be part of a good football game.”

A full house will give the match the big game atmosphere with Celtic fans looking for their side to complete a mini-transformation.

The hoops started their campaign with a last minute winner from Leigh Griffiths against Rosenborg followed by back-to-back defeats on the road to the Red Bull clubs.

Celtic go into match-day six three points ahead of RB Leipzig but with the Germans expected to beat Rosenborg at home Celtic will almost certainly need a point against RB Salzburg or they wil lose out on qualification due to the 2-3 aggregate against RB Leipzig.
