Chris Sutton highlighted the evolution of the Celtic side after today’s breathtaking 5-1 win over Kilmarnock today.
Steve Clarke’s side arrived as league leaders but were handed a first half lesson as Celtic raced into a four goal first half lead.
Celtic’s front four tormented the Killie defence all day with Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie providing more than a midfield anchor.
Big win for Celtic????????… hard to imagine at the start of the season this being Celtic’s best midfield three but hard to see a place for Brown and Ntcham at present…

An early volley from James Forrest set the tone for the first half with Killie unable to live with the pace that Celtic played at.
Odsonne Edouard and Mikael Lustig added to the scoring before a free kick from Ryan Christie put Celtic 4-0 in front at the break.
Kilmarnock pulled a goal back early in the second half but Celtic could have added another couple but only had another goal from Forrest to show for their second half efforts.
The win lifted Celtic back into top spot in the Premiership table, two points ahead of Kilmarnock with two games in hand.
