Scott Brown is one of seven changes to the Celtic side that beat Aberdeen on Sunday for tonight’s clash with Motherwell.

The midfielder returns to action with only Kieran Tierney, Filip Benkovic, Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie surviving from the side that won at Hampden.

Celtic go into the match on the back of retaining the Betfred Cup against Aberdeen at Hampden on Sunday.

That victory came on the back of winning 1-0 away to Rosenborg to keep alive their hopes of progressing in the Europa League.

Dedryck Boyata looks like being out injured until the new year but Jozo Simunovic shouldn’t have too many difficulties adapting to playing alongside Filip Benkovic.

With Kilmarnock visiting Celtic Park on Saturday the hoops are kicking off a hectic schedule that will go a long way towards shaping up their prospects of winning an eighth successive title.

CELTIC: Gordon; Gamboa, Simunovic, Benkovic, Tierney; Brown, Ntcham; Hayes, Christie, McGregor, Griffiths

SUBS: Bain, Izaguirre, Hendry, Rogic, Edouard, Sinclair, Forrest
