The straight talking BT Sport pundit didn’t shirk the issues when the Tom Rogic situation was discussed before today’s SPFL action from Perth.

Rather than be available to play for Celtic at Ibrox on December 29 Rogic will be preparing for a warm up match against Oman the following day.
After playing for Celtic at Aberdeen on December 26 Rogic will say his good-byes and head out to the UAE for the Asian Cup- ironically Celtic will be in Dubai for a week of warm weather training next month.
Australia’s first match is on January 6 against Jordan followed by further group matches against Palestine and Syria.
The real action, the knock out phase kicks off on December 20- three weeks after the Glasgow derby that Rogic will watch from afar.
If Australia go all the way to the final Rogic will miss five Celtic matches in January and Ferbruary.
